Abstract

Antinomous pairs in wedding ritualism provide confrontation, conflict and progress of action. Among the statuses of the main characters, antinomies arise between the profane and the sacred, as well as between the statuses before and after the rite, between belonging to male and female camps. The division of antinomies of all characters without exception is effected according to the later principle. Antinomy within the framework of the rite arises between objects where rites are performed, and symbols, in particular ritual songs. As a result, the antinomous pairs are confined to the confrontation of the real, which is the profane world, and the extramundane, as a source of sacralization during the ceremony.
