THE SIGN AND SYMBOL AS FORMS OF CULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN CONTEMPORАRY CONDITIONS
Abstract
In the fourth lecture of «Musical poetics» by I. Stravinsky entitled «Musical typology» a project is presented
that can be described as «apophatic rhetoric». We are talking about musical artifacts that create a rhetorical field, traditionally, beginning with the rhetoric of Aristotle, is structured within the framework of one or another poetics. Rhetoric is a continuation of poetics, its immersion in the text. However, in this case it happens only partially, only implicitly. The unity of poetics and rhetoric moves in Stravinsky in a completely different context than the textual one.
The subject of his analysis is not textual reality, but the identification of that hypertext, which is phenomenology, anthropology, and even more structurally musical meta-anthropology.
