The relevance of the problem is determined by the problems caused by the dynamic digitalisation of methods for organising socio-cultural activities. In particular, with the advent of widely available artificial intelligence tools, most practitioners have changed their organisational methodology.
The purpose of the article is to identify and describe potential areas of project activity in which artificial intelligence can be used to support or replace roles.
Methodological basis of the research. The definition of the role of AI is based on the theoretical foundations of Michal Shostak’s management approach concept (the concept of ‘The Art of Management – Management of Art’), which allows not only to identify specific universal areas of AI implementation, but also to differentiate the concept of subjectivity in relevant models of project activity.
Results and conclusions confirm two possible roles of artificial intelligence in project activities: ‘assistance’ (as a
supporting tool) and ‘replacement’ (self-generation). The scientific novelty of the research results lies in revealing the sociocultural importance of introducing AI into project management processes. This article highlights the authors' experience in generating creative content for the implementation of project activities within the educational process, and also illustrates the results of an analytical review of current practices of replacing the role of the ‘creator’ through the introduction of machine
self-learning. However, the continuous development of this technology within the framework of the brain-computer interface
may transform it into a substitute for the creative subject. After all, modern practices of prosthetics using chips and
mechanised parts demonstrate the ability of artificial intelligence to self-learn, improve and self-generate.
