Abstract
The urgency of the problem. Researching the socio-cultural practices of museums using digital technologies, in particular audiovisual resources for the presentation of collections and exhibitions, will make it possible to determine which technologies are most popular and effectively engage museum visitors, which audiovisual resources best meet their needs, including in the context of promoting social integration and participation different population groups in socio-cultural life.

The research methods are conditioned by the provision of a complex interdisciplinary study of the museum's sociocultural activities in the conditions of digitalization. This requires an inclusive combination of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization, etc.) and special methods integrated with cultural studies, museology, history, sociology, management.
Practical meaning of work. A systematic study of the activities of museums in the conditions of digitization will make it possible to develop practical recommendations for the implementation of virtual, audiovisual and interactive technologies in the space of a specific museum.
