HIGHER CULTURAL EDUCATION IN UKRAINE: HISTORIOGRAPHY OF RESEARCH

Abstract

Relevance of the theme: the historiographical base on the issue of researching higher cultural education in Ukraine at the current stage is considered. Attention is focused on the fact that in modern conditions and at the stage that the culture industry in Ukraine is experiencing today, one of the urgent problems is training of human resources. In this regard, serious changes are taking place in training of specialists in the specified field, associated with special requirements for their professional skills, which requires a theoretical analysis of the intensification of cultural education, multifacetedness and specificity of the profession of cultural studies.
Methodological base of research. In order to determine the role and place of higher cultural education, a systemactivity approach was applied as a general scientific research principle. The work is written on the basis of the use of general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization of source information.
The scientific novelty consists in the implementation of the historiographical component of the development of higher cultural education in Ukraine at the current stage. The most relevant research topics, problems of modern cultural education with the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process have been defined.
The practical significance of the research is that the use of this material will allow more efficient organization of the work of higher education institutions in the field of cultural studies, as well as the use of this information for further scientific research.
