MUSEUM IN A MODERN CULTURAL SPACE
Abstract
The urgency of the problem lies in searching for ways to optimize the activity of Ukrainian museums in modern
conditions relying on the best experience of organizing similar European practices. After all, only by expanding its own
arsenal of means, the national museum will be able to compete successfully in the modern cultural space.
The scientific novelty of the research can be defined in an attempt to involve foreign experience in cultural circulation and an attempt to draw analogies with the existing museum practices of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the most vivid forms of museum activities aimed at various socio-demographic population groups in certain European countries; the specifics of the use of various Internet technologies in this case are investigated; the leading present
trends in the modern museum network of various countries are revealed and attention is focused on the possibility of
using this experience in the cultural realities of Ukraine.
The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the published experience in the practice of the museum network of Ukraine in modern conditions.
