THE CONCEPT OF «HAPPINESS» AS A MULTYDISCIPLINARY OBJECT OF A SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: DIACHRONICH ASPECT

Abstract

The author turns to the problem of giving scientific definition to the socio-cultural phenomenon of happiness. The solving of this scientific task will contribute to working out the ways of forming the system of contemporary axiological reference points.

The scientific results referring to the studies of happiness concept by the representatives of different knowledge fields (philosophy, psychology, linguistics, sociology) have been summed up. These results will promote the clarification of understanding the category, finding its universal descriptors, will form the basis for singling out (describing) the components of the socio-cultural phenomenon of happiness.

Both the high level of scientific results representation and the domination of empiric approach, which does not presuppose the assessment of happiness in the context of general social being on fundamental knowledge basis, are stated. The problem needs deep theoretical comprehension, understanding the level of influence of faith, spiritual, economic, gender, educational, family characteristics on the felicitic concepts (ideas) of a person.
