THE SOCIO-CULTURAL DIMENSION OF CITY ARCHITECTURE PLANNING DURING 1959-1975 YEARS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF KREMENCHUK IN POLTAVA REGION)

Abstract

It is reviewed in the article the socio-cultural dimensions of architectural planning on the example of Kremenchuk in Poltava region. Special regional characteristics of architecture planning were identified with its brightly represented spirit of the age late 1950 – 1970 ХХ century. The chronological frameworks of the research were determined 1959-1975 years – the period of actively growing process of building housing stock and socio-cultural fund in Kremenchuk. The reasons of architecture enlargements in socio-cultural objects were indicated here. The reasons of architecture network enlargement in socio-cultural objects in Kremenchuk are stated in the article. It is analyzed in the article the rate of construction activity of socio-cultural objects in Kremenchuk, which appeared in a certain period. The socio-cultural objects are: schools, pre-school establishments, cinemas, culture palaces, parks, gardens, etc. While basing on archival documents it was determined, the percent of socio-cultural objects availability for all requirements of city population, which were put into service in 1959-1975 years.
