ORGANISATIONAL AND CREATIVE TRANSFORMATIONS OF UKRAINIAN CIRCUS: FROM CENTRALIZATION TO REFORMS (1993 – PRESENT)

Abstract

Changes in the organisational and creative model of circus industry in the post-Soviet Ukraine are researched.
Positive and negative trends of the state-owned circus system’s development are considered during the centralisation
period (1993-2003) and reforms period (2004 – nowadays). The essence of transformations is considered and attention
is paid to their consequences assessment. The current model is characterized in terms of its creative and economic
efficiency, and ability to self-reproduction.
