MODERN DEFILES IN UKRAINE AS A FASHION IMAGE REPRESENTATION

Abstract

Defile as a means of trends demonstration and as a complex organized artistic process with its own figurative system and its own reproduction methods has been studied in the article. The generalized fashion image created by fashion and closely related to the artistic image has been examined; the decoration, music, light and mask as the theatrical expression means used for harmonization of the idea and the artistic image of the designer; the use of theatrical expression means as visual and emotional objects of influence of designer ideas and imaginative structure of collection on the viewer have been analyzed in the article. The specifics of main trends of the Ukrainian fashion industry, in which some Western ideas are commonly used for fashion shows, but the clothes and the image of which acquired purely national characteristics have been outlined in the article.
