TO THE HISTORY OF ORIGIN OF THE CHAMBER-ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCE OF DROGOBYCHINA

Abstract

The prerequisites for the emergence of chamber orchestra performance in Drohobych region, which originated in the mid-20 s of the XX century, are revealed. and it was greatly revived in the 30 s, a period of the culmination of the rise of musical life in the country. This was facilitated by the opening of cultural, artistic and professional institutions,
the emergence of professional musicians, who joined forces to promote models of Western European and Ukrainian music art both in the youth community and among the general public.
The activity of chamber and orchestral groups of Drohobychyna in the outlined period is characterized, their
concerts performances and repertoire palette are analyzed. The names of the musicians who gave birth to this type of performing activity in the region are distinguished.
