Abstract

The peculiarities of the artistic language modernization of the national ballet performance in the 60-80-s of XXth century have been analyzed under the influence of the sociocultural processes that took place in the country. The author focuses on the creativity of composers’ generation (A. Kos-Anatolskyi, M. Skoryk, V. Kyreiko, L. Lychko,
E. Stankovych), who stimulated the appearance of the new choreographers (M. Tregubov, A. Shekera, A. Rubinova etc.) and dancers. The importance of the composer’s neo-folklore methodology, which consists in the folklorization of the sound material, has been emphasized.
