SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PRACTICE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SKILLS IN MODERN CHOREAOGRAPHIC TRAININGS

Abstract

The relationship between cognitive science and phenomenology in the context of modern ballroom dance teaching techniques is explored; the researches of well-known theorists and dance practitioners of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century are analyzed. It has been discovered that practicing psychological skills at the present stage is an important part of ballroom dance techniques and choreographic training of professional dancers, since by helping to focus on free access to feelings, they allow to improve choreographic technique, performing skills, strengthen communication between partners, thanks to imitation and empathy in the context of dance interaction, performance during performances, and, consequently, to create highly artistic images by means of choreographic art, dem making an impeccable technique of execution.
