POLISH AVANT-GARDE IN THE CONTEXT OF «UKRAINE – POLAND» DIALOGUE OF CULTURES

Abstract

Historical and cultural, aesthetic and art-critical studies are investigated in its conceptual and art forms on the materials of Polish aesthetics. Artistic activities from the «Formists», «Rebelling», «Block», «Praesens», «a.r», «Artes» groups are analyzed, in particular, the activity of V. Strzemiński, H. Stażewski and L. Chwistek. Aesthetical researches of Polish avant-gardism are represented by the names of T. Peiper, R. Ingarden, S. Morawski, M. Gołaszewska, modern theorists of contemporary art in Poland. It is concluded that there was a peculiar dialogue of the Polish and Ukrainian avant-gardists of the first one third of the ХХ th century.
