EVENT MANAGEMENT AS AN ELEMENT OF TERRITORY IMAGE FORMATION
Abstract
It is proved that the main purpose of forming the image of the territory is that in this way a positive image of the territory is created, its public recognition is guaranteed. The basis of the task of forming a positive image of territories is considered and the main functions performed by the image of a territorial unit are given. The structure and stages of formation of the image of the territory are characterized. The factors providing support of local economic development and attraction of investments at carrying out of image actions are allocated. The classification of event events according to the principle of target audience or focus on the object of influence is characterized. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, as well as in the future local authorities and territorial institutions operating in the field of culture, proposed ways to form a positive image of the territories through the use of event management.
