ACCORDION ART OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETITION AND FESTIVAL MOVEMENT

Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of the functioning and development of the competition and festival movement in the accordion art of Ukraine. The classification of artistic forums of accordion performance was
performed, their main functions were revealed and the significance of these creative competitions for the development and popularization of accordion art of Ukraine was clarified. It is noted that the participation and victories of Ukrainian performers in international contests and festivals help to integrate the accordion art of Ukraine into the world cultural space, prove the competitiveness of the national accordion school, popularize the Ukrainian musical culture and contribute to the increase of the authority of the country.
