Abstract

The article deals with the embodiment of Frankiana in the stage art of the Ukrainian diaspora in the second half of the 20th and the beginning of 21st centuries. It reveals their programmatic purpose as an important factor in forming the moral and national-ideological principles of different diaspora generations. Based on the analysis it was concluded that both professional and amateur artists performed works of Ivan Franko in different genres: theater productions, poetic theater, artistic performance.
