VOCAL COMPONENT IN FEATURE CINEMA OF THE «THAW» PERIOD: VARIETIES OF SOLO PERFORMANCE

Abstract

The characteristic features of the vocal component in feature films (on selected examples of multi-genre films of the
«thaw» period, which were included in the foundation of Soviet film classics) in the aspect of its attitude to the art spaces of
the movie (Diegetic, Methadiegetic, Extradiegetic or Nondiegetic) and its functioning in them (according to the classification
of the functions of the sound series in the cinema of Z. Lissa) are analyzed. The main varieties of solo vocal performance in
feature films are determined: vocal performance of an actor-character; vocal voicing of the character; vocal voicing of the
visual series (video sequence) of the movie. Features of songs solo performance by actors in selected films in musical-artistic
and vocal-technical plane are considered. The dominance of the pop manner of singing (with the presence of some variability)
in the vocal components of the feature films of the designated period is noted.
